Novel next
so a friend and I decided to work on our writing projects during July. We both decided to try to repeat national novel writing month where youre supposed to hit 50K for the month. Im about 10K behind where I should be at this point in the month to make that goal. I dont think shes doing much better. On the up side im at 18K words and more or less done with chapter two. Im about 2K behind where I think I should be at this point in the story. Im aiming for roughly 100K, which for all you math majors out there breaks down into about 10K per chapter for my 10 chapters. The bird is sitting on my shoulder and helping me write. Or rather distracting me from writing...at least with both hands. hes pretty sure one hand at minimum should be reserved for petting him. Ive also been trying to practice the tin whistle more frequently lately with mixed success. Bill is getting started on the violin and I am mucking about with his mandolin. Its turning into a musical household. I find this to be supremely odd since I was by far the least musical of all my siblings. Oh well... ive decided that when i grow up I want to write novels and play traditional irish music in a band that hangs out in irish pubs....thats my plan... whats yours?
